Ancient Keyboard

Random fingerprint fragments
Smattered across the surface
A dust speckled, oily residue
Lurking within black crevasses

What lies beneath the tiles?
I begin thinking and wondering
A festering bacterial cesspool
Brewing dark and deadly grime

I'll risk my life and try my luck
Pressing my finger into a key
Decending into the vile abyss
With no chance of safe return

My entire arm gets devoured
The swarm moves up my body
Like fireants moving for the kill
I collapse and die on the keys
