Suddenly, this flourishing flurry ceases
Gallant wind of affection grows so stale
Neath his stead my heart lies in pieces
Her enlifting gaze now brings me to fail

Just passing the time to stroke her ego
Perhaps I've been absorbed in lenience
Or maybe I never learned to let it all go

Falling into a state of ruinous diseases
Suffering from her attention so convivial
My adoring warmth ever slowly freezes
Leaving love to appear heartlessly trivial

My word seeming to be a mere whisper
An insignificant raindrop above an ocean
The sound of defeat is becoming crisper
Sepulchered by the confines of a notion

Does romantic love have a place inside?

Your rhyming scheme is quite awesome I like it a lot, but once you get to the 4th and 5th paragraphs you begin to sound forced. The hardest part about rhyming poetry is trying not to sound force, as for not to look like you formed the sentence around the rhyming word. Overall I love it, very well worded and compiled. Your first 2 paragraphs are definitely the best.
